18. A memorable job, summer camp, or internship
WELL. I never had a job before, nor an internship. Summer camps? Most of my summers are spent studying.
Memorable? Not really memorable experiences. I mean, I went to ACI to study PSAT and SAT, went to summer school for Gov/Econ. Sure, there were cool people, but nothing really interesting.
Boring post is boring.
15a. Four favorite pictures/pictures that represents each of your four years the best and why/how
Damn it. I’ll find pictures for this. Maybe towards the end. >.>”
17. Oldest friend who you’ve kept
I’ll narrow this down to Oldest Friend I’ve kept that’s still really awesome.
Leon Zhu. He’s a tall 6-feet-2 bad ass mofo. I didn’t really start getting to know him until probably Eighth Grade, but he’s been there since Sixth. We used to play shotgun with other people, and style shotgun into Naruto and Megaman. It was stupid, granted, but we were kids. No such thing as TOO DAMN OP or imbalances.
Anyway, for a time in high school, he was actually quite the studious one. He would always go back home, finish his homework, screw around for a while, and then go to sleep. Some days we’d have tennis, and it’d be the same thing all over again. Some days he’d have band, but he quit that after Freshman year.
Then, Junior Year, we grew a lot closer because we had the same English teacher. Even moreso in Senior year, having the SAME English class together.
He’s been a great friend, seriously. Sometimes we discuss topics that we can relate to, and sometimes we’re just screwing around. When one of us is down, annoyed, shitty, or whatnot, the other one is usually there to help with advice… or some shit like that.
Either way, I think he’s one of those people I’ll miss after going to College.
16. Most surprising friend
Okay. I realize I didn’t do number 15, but the thing is, I really don’t keep photos with me. >.>” Maybe I’ll compensate by writing what I think about them sometime later.
Most surprising friend? Hands down. Daniel Vu.
Best guy ever. Sure, we don’t really talk too often, nor do we annoy each other with problems in our lives, but I think that’s how we view our friendship to be. Sometimes we’ll hang out, other times we pass a nod and we’re gone from the hallway. Friendship isn’t about talking to the same person everyday for the majority of the day, especially when you really can’t make up all the conversation anyway. Most times, I really don’t have much to say, and I’m sure he respects that, too. But when we do have conversations, we get down on it pretty hard.
He’s respectable, to a certain extent. Others may have differing opinions.
Sit down. Let music play.
14. The teacher you hated the most
I don’t hate people, per se. I can dislike a class, dislike their style of teaching, and probably be upset with their methods of torture. But for the most part, even if the conditions are favorable, I’ve found most of my teachers to be generally fair in their load of work. I’ve never had a problem with unnecessary work from any of my teachers.
Except maybe for my English class this year. I’m loathing it a bit more than I loathed my other English classes. =\
13. Favorite group project
I think I forgot to do this yesterday….
Hands down, Kirby. That Kirby project is a calculus project involving volumes. My buddies Cuong and Geen put a lot of work into its inception and creation, as well as the final decorating. Special thanks to Cuong for spending all the time to cut out all the rings made for the air-tunnel which Kirby sucks the Maxim tomato through.
Best. Project. Ever.
12. Hardest you ever legitimately studied
Oh. PSHH. That’s so easy.
…I mean, I wish I could sayevery. fucking. day.But we all know that’s not true.
I always make myself study before tests come up, or major assignments, etc.
I think the one period of time I studied the friggen hardest was when I had to read a book (The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway), write a paper on it, and finish this huge packet I had for The Great Gatsby along with it. In one day. From after the collab-Wednesday schedule up until Thursday morning at perhaps 3 in the morning.
If that isn’t good enough, then I should think about the many days of sophomore and junior year studying for 2 or 3 hours on a chapter test for WHAP or APUSH.
If that isn’t good enough either, then I can think about how often I panicked over having a Chemistry, Calculus, and Physics test on the same day. Which, actually, didn’t happen too often.
Either way, I look forward to days when I actually wasn’tpressured to study. It’s rather infrequent that those days could come, and with Summer quickly approaching, I’m finally starting to find some peace.
11. How you spent your most memorable lunch hangout
Oof. That’s a hard one.
For the most part….
Freshman year: Sit with bunch of friends, because I was separated from other friends in 1st and 2nd lunch.
Sophomore year: Study for WHAP test.
Junior year: Rush to lunch, sit down with other friends, relax, watch teachers play chess.
Senior year: A mix between studying for Physics test, performing and preparing Chemistry labs, rushing Calculus, and 9gag.
It’s really hard to pinpoint a great lunch hang-out at school. I could extend my options to outside of school, but I don’t think that’s what being asked. =\
Well, I guess I could talk about how I kept trying to mend my friendship with this one person who’s been in my life for the past 4 years. She’s been an emotional roller-coaster for me, and a good chunk of time was spent trying to fix that out, somehow. Lunch gave me great opportunities to do that, and to this day, I’m still trying to work that out.
There’s also this one really interesting day when a girl asked me to eat lunch with her during freshman year.
That didn’t go so well. ^_^”
